Il sottobosco delle avventure sviluppate con AGS (Adventure Game Studio) riserva spesso sorprese interessanti, come il quasi ultimato Lancelot's Hangover, presentatoci dal suo autore direttamente sul nostro forum poco tempo fa.
Ambientato nell'universo arturiano, questo titolo presenta due importanti frecce al suo arco: una grafica "storica" capace di ricordare le miniature medievali e una trama che promette di sovvertire i cliché della Tavola Rotonda, ribaltando i valori in campo rispetto a quanto la tradizione ci ha sempre tramandato.
In attesa di una beta in dirittura d'arrivo, vi lasciamo così con qualche immagine e un trailer che crediamo possa stuzzicare il vostro coraggio e la vostra fede! A presto per intraprendere insieme a noi la ricerca del Santo Graal.

Quante cose originali si potrebbero fare con le avventure grafiche, e questo ne è un esempio!

Che poi... magari a JB gli possiamo anche proporre una bella localizzazione in italiano!

As 1Yol already told you, yes indeed, this very first playable beta of Lancelot's Hangover is available! It's 32.7 megabytes and 20 minutes of medieval fun, including 256-color VGA graphics in 1080p for later-than-1995-Pentium users! And it's free!

This first beta shows you what will be the humour, the dialogs, the main characters and the graphical style of the game. A later beta, scheduled for October 2014, will introduce you the funny puzzles and the point-and-click gameplay.

All bug reports, suggestions, comments are welome! Don't be shy! I will be glad to hear from you!

1Yol: la beta attuale è più simile a una presentazione del umorismo e personaggi del gioco. Una seconda beta sarà entro la fine dell'anno con i puzzle, gameplay e le interazioni. Quindi non mi concentro su di interfaccia e menu per il momento (ma, ovviamente, saranno fissati per la seconda beta). In ogni caso, si può uscire da questa beta premendo [Alt] [X]. The whole storyboard of Lancelot's Hangover is finally finished!

Everthing is on the walls: the puzzles, the story, the cutscenes, the characters. All I need to do now is finishing all the drawings, wire the whole thing in the game engine, make a bit of code - and the game is done!
